Data Interpretation and Analysis for SASW Measurements

Overview:

WinSASW is a software for the data interpretation and analysis of the SASW measurements. The first version was released in 1992, and based on Windows 3.1. WinSASW 1.0 provided the features to do the interactive masking, the determination of the phase velocities and the forward modeling analysis. Most of the features in WinSASW 1.0 are still included in WinSASW 2.0, but some features were excluded. The averaging of the forward and the reverse profile measurements is one of them. It is because the averaging gets rid of the very important information of the stiffness contrast between layers.
The new version introduces many new features discussed in Dr. Joh's dissertation. These features include IRF (Impulse Response Filtration technique), Gabor spectrum, global/array dispersion curves, the trasnfer function, the inversion analysis based on the maximum likelihood and more. The new version is working on Windows XP/Vista/7/10.
